Vágelá-rilf Rudnoplu (/xerl/ /rilf/ [mathematics] [life (living organism)]) is a subtropical Small Town located in Jitdêjrikè County, Åx̄gÿhlvoÿhchpheh Kingdom, within the United Kingdom of Undermountain.

The name Vágelá-rilf Rudnoplu is derived from the Gnollish language, as Vágelá-rilf Rudnoplu was founded by Trreggu vyim Roxlendfilf, who was culturaly Gnollish.

Climate

Vágelá-rilf Rudnoplu has a yearly average temperature of 12°C (53°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a cool 17°C (62°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 7°C (44°F). Vágelá-rilf Rudnoplu was founded durring the late 13th century in spring of the year 1253, by Trreggu vyim Roxlendfilf. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Trreggu vyim Roxlendfilf.

Vágelá-rilf Rudnoplu was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vágelá-rilf Rudnoplu is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Vágelá-rilf Rudnoplu is buildings are located arround a single broad canals mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. Unfortuantly, these robustly designed timber walls are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A look around Vágelá-rilf Rudnoplu gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes.

The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century Tarn Loveless began to boil, and released a thick toxic cloud from beneath its waters which brought great calamity to the entire nation, killing every person and animal in its path which could not escape the cloud. Oddly, the plants of the region flourished in the years after the disaster. The disaster brought an end to people, livestock, and buildings. The disaster is referred to as the Anguish Wind.
